BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA is the International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines and Construction Vehicles in India. More than 15,000 participants with 647 exhibitors from 30 countries.
Business transactions, high-quality trade visitors and more participants than in 2014: BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA, which took place at HUDA Ground in Gurgaon/Delhi from December 12 to 15, 2016, underscored the fact that there are signs of a turnaround in the Indian market for construction machinery.
Igor Palka, CEO of bC Expo India—a joint venture of Messe München and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) —, is pleased that "positive developments in the Indian market were noticeable at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2016. Exhibitors made some very good contacts and in some cases reported having sold machines directly at the fair. For us as the organizer, this feedback is more than gratifying and confirms that BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA is perceived as an important platform by the market."
SANY at BAUMA
With exhibiting area of 2625 square meters, Sany India showcased 15 units of machines including 5 units of excavators, 8 units of heavy equipment, 2 units of road and concrete machinery.
SANY India showcased four units of new heavy construction equipment at the BAUMA CONEXPO 2016. The new products showcased include Asphalt paver, Rough Terrain crane, Tower Crane and piling rig that will cater to the mining, road and construction industry. SANY India also announced the up gradation of its 24-tonne excavator to a heavy duty version SY-240 C-9HD (Heavy Duty), and introduces quarry variant of SY-220 C-9.
Commenting on the participation at Bauma Con Expo, Mr. Deepak Garg, CEO, Sany India said, “Over the years, SANY India has experienced a surge in the demand of heavy construction equipment. Between Excavator, Concrete and Crane BU's there were close to 15 key handover's done, 52 felicitations done for key customers and many machines were booked.
Close to 15 excavators were sold across product range, which also included Long reach excavators, 6 piling rigs, 2 motor graders, 1- 40 tonne crane. Apart from this there were close to 40 enquiries machines like motor grader, transit mixers, cranes and 50 enquires for excavators were generated.
