SANY excavator wins the domestic sales champion in the first three quarters
The domestic excavators’ manufacturers have sold a total of nearly 102,000 units in the first three quarters of 2017, a year-on-year growth of 99.6 percent, keeping the growth rate of nearly 100 percent for five months. SANY Heavy Industry has sold 22367 units of excavators in the first three quarters, topping the domestic sales with the market share of 22 percent.
In the first three quarters, the sales volumes of small excavators, medium excavators and large excavators are respectively 51655 units, 37041 units and 12991 units. SANY Heavy Industry won the sales champions for its mini excavators and medium excavators. SANY SY75C mini excavator had been sold 5161 units, which made it the most popular excavator model of the domestic market in the first three quarters.
In the first three quarters of 2017, China has exported 6,607 units of excavators, whereas 2,564 units were exported by SANY, accounting for 39 percent of the total exported volume. Besides, 14 models of excavators were sold over 100 units to the overseas countries in the first half year of 2017, among which 7 models came from SANY. SANY SY215C excavator was ranked first on the exported excavators' list with the sale volume of 683 units.
Driven by the Chinese government’s strong supports to the urban construction and the infrastructure construction, the excavator industry saw a soaring growth since the second half year of 2016. With the implementation of China’s 13th Five-Year Plan, the industry is expected to maintain a steady growth.
SANY Heavy Industry gets stable growths not only in domestic market share, but also in overseas business. Taking high market shares in Southeast Asia, India, North Africa and Middle East, SANY is known as a famous Chinese construction machinery manufacturer brand in these regions. In 2017, SANY Heavy Industry is expected to get a record high of 28,000 units in excavator sales volume.
