SANY India, as part of its commitment to sustainable rural development, has undertaken the Vada Pond Beautification Project in Gujarat in collaboration with Durga Infra Mining Pvt. Ltd. (DIMPL). The CSR Committee approved this initiative to support the restoration and enhancement of a vital community water resource. To facilitate the project, SANY India contributed an SY120 Excavator, enabling key activities such as de-silting, landscaping, and basic infrastructure development of the village pond. This initiative is aimed at strengthening water conservation efforts, improving environmental conditions, and enhancing the overall well-being of the local community. The pond renovation work has been initiated and is currently in progress.

Disaster Relief & Rescue Support – Silkyara Tunnel, Uttarkashi

Sany Steps up Csr Activities, Supplies Excavator for Pond Construction
Pabal, a village near Pune, known to be a drought prone area will soon have sufficient water supply for farming and other activities thanks to the pond construction work undertaken by Sany India. The acute water shortage problem came to light during a survey in the village by Mr. Ayush Prasad, CEO- Pune Zilla Parishad along with Mrs. Savita Bagate. They approached Sany India to supply an excavator for construction of Ponds and cleaning wells. As part of their CSR activity, Sany India immediately dispatched their state -of-the-art SY220, a hydraulic excavator known for its optimum performance and efficiency. Work on 7 ponds with varying dimensions and capacity have already been completed. These Ponds will ensure water supply throughout the year for farming and day to day activities. Mr. Dheeraj Panda, Chief Operating Officer (Sales, Marketing and Customer Support), Sany India, said, “We are honoured and privileged to be a part of this project which will help in enhancing the availability of water to the villagers. Farmers form the backbone of our country. Be it in winter’s chill or summer’s heat, a farmer works tirelessly so that everyone can eat. It’s indeed a matter of pride that we are able to transform this village from a drought prone area to a ‘water adequate’ one. Elaborating further, he said, “At Sany, we believe in giving back to the society. We have been involved in various outreach programmes during the pandemic as well be it in supplying free masks to healthcare workers or the SANYtization drive for our employees. Our endeavour to be a friend in need will continue to gain strength in the days to come.” Initially, Sany excavator was provided for 20 days, however due to increase in demand from the villagers, the period was extended. The machine continues to be put to good use. Till date, 7 ponds of different dimensions and storage capacity have been constructed. Each pond has a capacity to store more than 50 lakhs liters of water. One of the biggest ponds created measures 100*90*31 ft with a storage capacity of 1crore 60 lakhs liters of water.

Sany India organizes vaccination drive for employees, family members in association with CII in Pune
Pune, June 2021: Sany India, a leading manufacturer of construction equipment; in association with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) held a special vaccination drive for its employees, financers, suppliers andbusiness associations like ICEMA&Chakan Industries Association along with their family members at its Pune campus, in Chakan on Tuesday. As many as 1400 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 at the vaccination camp. Inaugurating the vaccination drive, Mr. Deepak Garg, Chairman CII Pune Zonal Council and Managing Director, Sany India said, “The health and well-being of Sany family is our utmost priority. Amidst this unprecedented time – as the whole world is racing to get inoculated, Sany India decided to facilitate free doses of vaccines for our employees.” “Since the vaccine is a crucial tool to beat COVID-19; we are encouraging everyone to get inoculated within time. With this vaccine program, Sany India aims to create a safe and conducive environment to work.” Adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines, the vaccination drive was smoothly conducted with minimum waiting times and in utmost sanitized and safe conditions. Around 300 plus oxygen concentrators & ventilators and one Oxygen Plant were donated to needy establishments in and around Pune. Amid Covid Crisis, Sany India with CII Foundation steps in to donate Ventilators
Pune, May 31, 2021: As the hospitals are reeling under an acute shortage of ventilator beds and other medical supplies amid the rising COVID-19 cases in the country- Sany India in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Foundation and CII Pune donated 3 ventilators to Sassoon Hospital today. Sassoon General Hospital is a large state-run hospital in Pune. Mr. Deepak Garg, Managing Director, Sany India & South Asia and Mr. Dheeraj Panda, Director of Sales, Marketing and Customer Support ,Sany Heavy Industry India Pvt. Ltd along with the hospital dean Dr.Tambe, BJ medical college and Sassoon Hospital, were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Deepak Garg, mentioned, “The consecutive days of record-breaking infections have posed an unprecedented threat to the healthcare system. Hospitals across the country are overwhelmed with infected patients and facing an acute shortage of medical supplies. We at Sany India are doing our bit in the spirit to battle the Covid-19 by donating the ventilators to Sassoon Hospital, which is relentlessly working on the ground to treat patients hit by the deadly virus.”

Helping Kerala Flood Relief
In an effort to bring about normalcy in the lives of people affected by Kerala floods, SANY provided its mini excavator to local relief operations. Former PWD Minister of Kerala and present MLA of Kalamassery, Mr Ibrahimkunju approached Sany for help in reconstructing his constituency which was badly affected by the floods. As a part of its social responsibility, SANY offered SY35U Mini Excavator to be used in the area for 2 weeks. The work done by SANY’s little wonder included removing debris from the roads to re-establish connectivity, wreckage removal, and clearing blocked drains and canals. In addition, each SANY employee donated one day’s salary to help their brethren in Kerala.

Chennai Flood Relief Campaign
The annual northeast monsoon in November–December 2015 resulted in heavy rainfall. Continuing rains led to low-lying parts of Chennai becoming inundated by 13 November. SANY machines contributed in rescue operations and extended its full support to the victims.
